Leadership

Each Bible Family Group has three primary leaders which serve different functions within the group. Usually it is filled by one person, but sometimes it is a shared responsibility. These three main leaders are as follows:

Bible Teacher - leads the overall group ministry and teaches and facilitates the Bible Study lesson each week

Worship and Prayer Leader - leads the group in worship through music, Scripture, prayer and encourages involvement in corporate worship services

Ministry and Missions Recruiter - leads individuals and the group together to participate in the ministries and mission activities of the church

Many groups also enlist other leaders as their needs determine, such as secretaries, care group leaders, fellowship leaders and outreach leaders.

The Family Group Leaders are volunteers who are approved by the staff and approved by the church. All Family Group leaders generally meet once a quarter for training and encouragement.
